The Goodwin Borodino-I2 system ( see Fig.3) is intended for use on the territories of the enterprises of the mining industry with explosive conditions of manufacture, in collieries and mines with dangerous conditions on gas, dust and sudden emissions; and also on the territories of the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex, the oil and gas industry, the chemical industry, and of the objects with dangerous zones of manufacture.
3.1. The structure of the “Goodwin Borodino-I2” micro cell system in the hardened (explosion-proof) execution.

The equipment of hardened base stations and repeaters (the base equipment) is permanently installed in dangerous zones, and hardened DECT/GAP mobile radio telephones should be applied as user's devices.
The system stipulates connection of the hardened equipment of base stations and repeaters only to the connected electric equipment. Connection of the general purpose electric equipment to the hardened base equipment is not allowed in the system.
3.2. Base Station Controller (BSC-Upn-i2b) is intended for connection of the telephone system to an automatic telephone exchange and for service of the network of EX base stations. BSC-Upn-i serves up to 16 base stations (BS) with subsequent expansion up to 32 BS.

3.4. Galvanic decoupling block is intended to provide safe connection of the WPO computer to the BSC-E1 or the BSC-Upn-i2b.
3.5. Protection block of power lines (PBPL) is intended to provide remote spark-proof power supply of BS-Upn-i2b and RBS-i2b. Power supply source parameters are 60V/0,1 A.
